AGM late Sept, early October 2009

Hi Members,

we plan to hold the AGM as soon as possible but with a 28 day notice of meeting requirement, it will be either late Sept or early Oct.

As I have to travel to the USA Oct 2nd, I would hope to hold it either Tues 29, Wed 30 or Thurs 1st October.

I propsoe we may hold it at Mark Johnsons meeting room at his Nth Melb offices where we did last year and on the same night, have a slide show of pics from the recent Monterey Historics and Pebble Beach Concours.

This should make it an interesting evening to attend. I will confirm the date and place in the next day or so.

OK, have organised the AGM for Wed 30th SEPT at 7.30pm to be held at same place as last year -

we will meet in the upstairs meeting room and the Club will supply dinner and drinks starting at 6.30pm.


The AGM will take place and be followed by a slide/image presentaiton from various speakers who attended the recent Monetrey Historics and Pebble Beach Concours.

New documents have been uploaded into Document Database section including: Notice of AGM and Agenda, Proxy Form, Nomination Form for office bearers.

If you cannot attend or wish to raise any items for the Agenda, please respond ASAP and ensure any Proxies are duly signed, authorised and presented in advance of the AGM date via mail, fax or email.

Please also consider taking up a role in the management of this club as it cannot operate by remote control. Many of the founding members have diligently worked to get the club to where it is now but it requires hands on to keep it up and running, much like our old cars.

Members please also note we will be having a general club meeting after the AGM where some members will run a slide show of the many pics they took at Monterey recently plus give a report on the weeks event.

This will be very interesting as there were many rare porsches on display at the track and if you havent been to Monterey, it will whet your appetite for a trip one day.

I can also give a brief presentation on the New POrsche Museum which I visited in April.
