Yes Andrew, I will be at Eastern Creek
One last chance to beat Geoff
Will only have the 2.7 there as the EBS Spyder still having engine rebuilt.
First outing for that will now be Phillip Island

I'm a (reluctant) non-starter, something to do with a work Christmas party to attend during the day.

I did notice Oran Park are now advertising the Last Ever Race Meeting on 23 & 24 January 2010....
The perfect mix of urban convenience with a rural heart, Oran Park is a thriving masterplanned community. Live, play, work, shop at the Park.

This thread is very quiet.... I missed the racing on account of being in Melbourne for the 356 parade

I'm assuming there isn't much news, as far as results go... or perhaps I should not even ask?

The "Frowned upon Historics" running in regularity had a lot of fun. Usual suspects to compete with. No videos taken as Santa hasn't delivered mine yet and Mr C wasn't running his cam. Only one Curnick, but I think he has found a legitimate excuse.... and it was bloody hot though !

I didn't see anyone else, except for the Sc boys who set some lap records which was great to watch and as usual very close racing. I cant wait to get my red car built and join them, at least in the back of the pack...

Andy and Ryan, I was hoping to be there on the Sunday, cheering you on, but it was just too damn hot.

I can't wait for Ryan to write his War and Peace story on what happened to him on the weekend. There is a weeks reading in that for sure!!!

                      Lucky it ended all well.

Anyone headed to Buller this weekend to see Mr C tackle the big B?

Well I can tell you it was damn hot!! 43 degrees, track temp 58 degress and probably the same in the car! Saturday's race just ate up engines, brakes, tyres and drivers. I backed off to nurse the engine home after having a couple of goes passing Geoff Morgan to no avail.
Sundays race was going well placed second until punted off at turn 2 by an orange 911! Back to eleventh but managed to get back up to fourth passing a few Shelby's including one that lost his bonnet half way down the straight right in front of me!
Another good weekend racing (but no cigar this time)
                          Picture of the beast........

                            Orange, or silver and orange?

Well done either way Terry, good to see the Porsche's are still dominating!
