TYP 901 Display at 356 Annual Parade

The 356 Register have kindly allowed us to have a display similar to the last few years at the Annual 356 Parade, Sunday 29th November at Como Park, Toorak.

This is a great day with some awesome 356's to look at. Rumour is the Websters are unveiling a couple of newbies this year..hmmm. Wonder if club member Ian Henderson can top last years effort of #1 356 delivered to Aust.

Entry fee is $20 per car to help defray costs for the 356 club, the ()! Register will pay for your cars entry. We may also provide some refreshments on the day

Car definately does not need to be concourse, just clean would be good. It would be great if we could get 20 or so cars on the day we certainly have the numbers in Vic to achieve that and our cars always attact quite a bit of interest.

I need confirmation of attendance and your rego number so you can get in, no later than Thursday 26th November, 2009.

For those on historic registration I will create a document to send you by request.

Please include my car in the line up - will wash too, but will probably be covered in bugs by the time I get there!

I'll be there, but without 911.

I'm travelling with some NSW 356 friends.

I am in Melbourne this weekend, but had planned to fly out early sunday morning.

What time will the 356 parade start? Cant seem to find it on their website?

Not sure how feasible it is to change my flight at this stage in the game either...but would be good to catch up with everyone

Cars arrive and assemble at Como Park (cnr Williams Rd North and Alexandra Ave, South Yarra) from about 8:30-9:30am and generally start leaving at about 2-3pm. Usually well over 100 vehicles enter, so it's well worth a visit to see the best 356's in the country at the one venue.

                    Yep, Peter is onto it.

Normally cars arrive at around 9am through to about 11am.

Awards for the concours generally is around 2:30-3pm.

If you left around 1pm you would have seen all the 356's.

There will hopefully be about 20 901's there as well

To anyone who is even thinking about going to Como Park this Sunday, please come along. And if possible bring your cars as well.

I'm coming over with a small group of other new Zealand Porsche Club members and 901 entusiasts to attend the 356 Parade events over the weekend. But also to catch up with as many fellow 901 entusiasts as we can.

Having just joined the Typ 901 resiter it would be great to actually meet some of you.
