I'm out - A few mates & I managed to convince our respective wives that this would be a great weekend for a quiet trip to the Island..the wives haven't figured it out yet either.....although I'm sure they will on the way down there on friday night...hehehehe

Lets meet at 7.45am for an 8am departure

Departure point: meet at the very top of Elizabeth street outside the Melbourne City Toyota dealership.

Fuel can be found in Romsey or Gisborne if need be otherwise if the tank is full when you leave will easily make it back again.

Last part of the trip will depend on how we are going for time we can go 2 different ways but I promised you would be back by 12 and we will make sure that happens

(no tag, both my cars on the one account... downside is an 'image processing fee' - but for a low volume user like me that isn't a problem)

Its very sad to me that we have so many members but so few want to actually come out and drive the cars......I don't get it however we will still continue to organise events no matter how many cars turn up

Yes Clyde, thanks for organising and mapping out this run. I drove some roads close to Melbourne I had never been on before and feel this can be used again for a lunch visit to Mt Macedon Winery as the roads were ideal for a family run without too many windey bits.

The car is running all the better for having some good, serious exercise. A point that should be appreciated by more members who perhaps arent driving their cars as often as they should ??
