Club Dinner Melbourne May 20th

Keep this date free folks for the club dinner.

Its Saturday 20th May tentative arrangements have been made at a well know Italian restaurant in Glen Waverley. Easy to get to via Sth Eastern or Eastern Freeways plenty of parking and depending on numbers either a set menu with choice of 3 entrees, 4 mains, and 3 deserts for around $60 a head (BYO wine only) or if numbers are low then it will be off the STD menu. Again depending on numbers we will be sharing a function room or in the main restaurant.

Sorry Clyde, i have a 1/2 marathon early the next morning in Sydney.
(first time i've ever been able to proudly use this as an excuse !!!)

Even though I have a full marathon the next day (morning), I'll be there, however, Julie may not as she's swimming back from Tassie on that Saturday afternoon - I think the tide will be running out of the heads when she arrives - some excuse!!
Update- Julie will be coming - she's cancelled the trip to Tassie just to be at the dinner (damn!!)

Kate and I cannot attend as we will be in Europe, Croatia, at that time returning May 24th. I am attending a work conference then having a weeks R and R.

I miss out again sorry.....and believe it or not (see above posts)- I have a full marathon-and-a-bit on the Sunday along the Great Ocean Road from Lorne to Apollo Bay. I am willing to bet that at 30k's I will be asking "what the??" am I doing hear and "why aren't I making this trip in the 911" but so be it. Next time......trying to get to Flemington however...
