Grrrrrr...

Car is booked in to get rego plates on Friday morning, but won't have a chance to have any test runs (would prefer to break down in private!)... so will have to pass (again... Sob... )

Give me a week or two and I'll be there with bells on!!

What better place to break down than in a posse of other 901's, each driven by an amateur mechanic ready to dispense his advice freely.
Seriously though, there's safety in numbers and if there was a break down, I'm sure we could get you(or any one else for that matter) back on the road.
Saying that, I'm still negiotating my way around a 7 year olds birthday that falls on the Sunday.

Yeah, I know... thanks. i guess i was really trying not to put the mozz on myself by saying "parking it backwards in the bushes" because I haven't driven it more than a couple of times round the block and none of it at any great speed...

Don't worry though, I am really, really hanging out for a good drive... just think the first couple should be without any temptations to "keep up".

Hey guys it would be great if we had a good turn out this weekend, I’ve spoken to some locals who have 901s that aren’t members and they will be comming along.
We could see three or four new cars

Just a point to consider guys, this is a club sanctioned run and not an early morning 'Hell for leather' unofficial run. Therefore we encourage partners and kids to come along. Yes, there will be interesting roads but there will be plenty of time to socialise and enjoy lunch.
Its a good opportunity to include the whole family in your 'hobby'.

this is exactly the sort of club drive that would suit your initial "get to know yr car" drives. Its not a Gippslands back roads run as Brett says.

pls try to make it along with the car and your wife as its more a social day than anything else.

Yes, I am bringing Caren and my two girls....so I get into trouble if I go over the speed limit or take corners too fast.

It will be a great fun and social day.
