          I'm in.
          Weather forecast good.
I'm chasing CAMS to see if we need a permit for the day as their manual suggests we do - I'm waiting for a return call as it appears only one person at CAMS knows definitively and she's currently unavailable.
If so, I'll arrange permit application (no fee)

                Hey Pete

I'm still keen on understanding the CAMS thing and what benefit it's providing the club when driving registered road cars on public roads. It may segue into my Qld Special Interest Vehicle thread http://www.typ901.org/showthread.php?t=5654 Could you send me copies of the CAMS paraphernalia to have a read of, as well as the club's Victorian incorporation documents on the odd chance I can use them up here to convince Qld government to recognise the club?

Runs are always designed to have some bail points for those who want to come but have a tight schedule on the day.

You could easily head back to Melbourne once we hit Woodend should get you back at noon or earlier.

Wont be a starter as am anti fouling my yacht that weekend, sorry.

Also just left the 72E at AutoCoupe to have the front oil cooler and side pipes fitted. Luckily bought these form elephant racing a while back when the dollar was at parity. Not cheap now !

It would seem with the now large difference in exch rates between A$ - US$ and A$ to Euro, its far better to be sourcing parts ex Europe (if available).

                          Hi Clyde,
looks like the weather is going to perfect for the run this sunday. Just wondering what sort of numbers have accepted as looking at the forum it seems to me that the numbers are somewhat light. After the Christmas run where we had some 23+ cars, it looks to be light on.
                          What are the thoughts?

7 acceptances to date, not too bad for a run on short notice..and we'll probably get a few more. Our Xmas run was exceptional, probably the largest no. of cars since the 2005 Nationals.

Our thoughts are simple Nev............those who show up have a great run, those who don't, miss out.

It is what it is Neville which is how we roll, it was pretty short notice as Peter alluded to some others may roll up unannounced that usually happens

Don't worry about those not there just make sure you are and that you have fun
