    Sydney Typ901 Run - February 18

So get the air-cooled marvel out of mothballs, charge
the battery and kick the tyres.

We will assemble on Olympic Boulevarde, Sydney Olympic
Park, next to Telstra Stadium at 9am for a 9:30
    departure.

There will be a short blast of freeway driving, which
will take us to some sensational drivers' roads, which
I think were designed by an early 911 driver. You'll
    love them!

You will be provided with a question and answer sheet
to give the navigator and/or kids something to argue
about, the questions will be Porsche general knowledge
with maybe a couple of surprises too. A prize will be
awarded on the day to the car/driver/team who gets the
most correct answers. This will not be a full on
observation run, the purpose of the day is to have a
great drive in the country and have some fun along the
    way.

There will be a couple of opportunities during the
drive to stop, regroup, change drivers if you like,
and adjust the aero package to compensate for the
    reduced fuel load.

Lunch will be at a country pub, very casual, lots of
    parking.

To quote John Lennon: "A splendid time is guaranteed
    for all!" "

Please respond to me my phone or PM... to regsiter interest well in advance. Don't ring me on the morning and expect to be included please

Justin , I'll be there--probably not the wife though . Went to Blue Mountains in car at weekend and she spent a lot of time looking at speedo -- I've decided my wife and 911s are mutually exclusive . John

          Sydney 901'ers,

We need to know your intentions by next Wednesday....

Lunch is at the Carrington in Katoomba.... should be a nice day.

Haven't exactly been bowled over in the rush on this one... possibly down to the MG Historic Racing Festival... but I'd have though we'd have more starters by now.

i think i'm good - but without MY906 (off being caged)

will likely give the blue car a much needed run.

                    All,

Those attending this event are reminded to bring their e-tag along...

Our route master (driving a 2.7 Carrera Targa) reminds me there will be some use of the m4/m7.
