Last couple of times I've tried to upload an Avatar I've had an "upload failed' response - only to find that it worked???

Phil the previous avatar I had was an animated GIF and the site coped with it very well. I used that one as it is one of the largest I had on my system and very few boards are flexible enough to deal with files that size. The only quirk, which prompted the thread was that when up loading I received an error message saying that the upload failed, though it did make it.
