Website maintenance Thurs 20th Oct 2016

The forum will be down this Thursday the 20th Oct 2016 for migration to a new cloud server and upgrade to vBulletin 5.

The site will close late on Wednesday the 19th (about 11pm AEST) to ensure no further posting are made allowing backups to be made ready for migration and upgrade early Thursday. It may still be viewable during this period but please don't attempt any new postings as they will not migrate.

Works should be completed later on Thursday but it may take the internet a little longer to pick up on the server change. Should a major issue arise the current forum site will be reopened.

Thank you for your patience during this downtime.

Welcome to vBulletin 5, the latest version of the forum software.

This is stage 1, the basic setup and migration of all the posts, more tweaking is required to get some other features back like documents etc.

It does look different but its still vBulletin and things are very similar, it also works great on small devices.

                Testing attachments.

i am struggling with the new upgrade
i can see and access it now on my PC (although i could not do so late last night but by some posts it seems it was up) However both my phone and Ipad still show the unavailable for maintenance screen no matter how many times I try to restart ./ refresh the page including going back via google

Same happened to me in reverse yesterday, I could get it on my phone but not on the PC. Its due to a propagation delay in the Internet's domain name servers which they say can take 48 hours as it updates the details in 1000's of servers.

The server change happened about 2pm yesterday, so please keep trying, it will get there.

Also clearing the browser cache/history may help if your willing to try that.
