    73.RSR Hits the road

I took my first drive in my RSR replica for the first time a couple of days ago and still cant wipe the smile off my face. For those of you that dont know this car started life as an 83 930. The project has taken over a year and consumed vast amounts of my time and cash. There are still a few minor things to complete, but at least I can start having a bit of fun with it now.

We are not worthy... :bows down:

Very cool car. Have you posted this on Pelican? Do it and watch the accolades - they love their RSRs there.

                  Nice work Paul,

Good to see you've managed to fill up the majority of the engine bay!

                    Hey Paul,

cant you put an old engine grille on it to hide what lurks beneath ? If the rice boys get a hint of whats under the hood, it takes all the fun away.

And no NOS sticker either, OK ?

Very impressive result, Paul. Will we get the opportunity to see it in action in the Suncoast Classic in July?

                        Phill,

Got an old grille of Justin. Need to straighten it up a bit before I put it on.
The fast and the furious crew will only know they've taken on a turbo when they hear the twin blow off valves venting.

John, Ill be there but not competing. With the mods I've done the car does not comform to the new CAMS regs. When I've recovered financially I intend building a hot 2.8 and 915 box that I can throw in it to do the rally stuff. For now however it will just be club racing and hill climbs.
