    Interesting car at CTS

I dropped in at CTS for a quick squiz this morning and parked out the front was a very tidy looking Viper Green '72S with Ducktail and interesting front spoiler ( a bit like an RS but with slightly different profile & brake cooling vents cut in.

Also has recaro sport seats with houndstooth, and factory roll bar plus original 2.8 factory motor.

Taling to Jeremy he said they were still confirming the complete details with Porsche however it is believed the car is some sort of pre production RS that was brought over for Bathurst but never raced.

Not sure how true or otherwise but one of the Sydneysiders with more time than I had should follow this one up and find out the exact details. Sorry I didn't have the camera.

Price will apparently be in the $200K bracket. Oh and the turbo bodied Silver RSR is headed for the US - Conneticut I think...

    Cam,

apparently Jason Carroll knows a lot more about that car.

Maybe he will chime in with some comments.

That 72S should be worth something for its history then.
