    New Dash...How lucky am I!!!!

As most of you would know NOS RHD dashes have been non existent for some time now from Porsche.

I had an occassion to visit Alex (club member) at the parts section at PCA recently and they had a new dash sitting nearby that had air con holes and I casually mentioned to Alex how long had it been since Porsche had NOS RHD dashboards for our cars.

His initial response was years then he staggered me.

He said he had come across one just a week earlier at a dealership in New Zealand and did I want him to try and buy it for me.

Gee wonder what my response was.

Just picked it up today, its brand new delivered to PCA in 1990 still in original box. It is one of the non removable speaker grille dashes that were available up until about 1998, but still with the speaker holes.

Same dash as I had in my 73S Targa resto and same as I bought for Tony Caros 73S when I owned it in 1996.

I have no specific use for it but couldn't resist, you never know when the next car might come along.

If you decide to sell it, please keep me in mind as I may be interested (depending on price and permission to buy). As you are aware, the dash top in KYJ is a replacement (in perfect condition) but without the speaker grille/holes.
PS we must catch up for a drive soon - haven't driven the car for about 6 weeks at least.

You probably don't want to say, but how much was it?
