Buying a Porsche
We are planning on driving through Europe next year and I was thinking of buying a Porsche (new or near new) with the view of bringing it back after the trip. Has any member done this? and any pearls of advice?

i don't think it is possible for a post-1989 car unless you will be resident o/s and own the car for 12 months. i'd check with RTA/DOTARS etc -
If you order it new from Porsche Australia, it would be ADR complianced but not sure what savings you might enjoy doing it this way. Worth a call to porsche to find out.sigpicPhil Lack
