"so how is it?" - much more conservative! (see earlier attacks for relevance...)

i drove home in heavy traffic yesterday so little hard to assess (despite one or two attempts). first impressions are the longer 1st has not harmed acc'n at all - shorter 3rd 4th much more useful. however, i really need to do some redline shifts to get a better feel - will hopefully know more after sunday...

Ryan - I'm keen, but would need to bring the black (non-P) car. The tangerine car seems to have gone back into forced hibernation....progress is painfully slow.

Ryan, how early on Sunday are you thinking and how long for the drive?

no fixed start time yet - happy to suit others. early start obviously better from a traffic viewpoint.

as to how long - drive up, cofee/chat/ drive back. prob 2.5/3 hours all up depending on traffic?

If I can be home before 12 I'm in. I'll be on my own, so if anybody wants to ride along, they're welcome.

                      cheers, John
