    Yep interesting thread that one....

    I'm not aware of any problems over here in Aust thus far but I'm not exactly in the thick of it up here

    Anyone spied any dodgyness out there?

      Jeez, he got hammered quickly didn't he? I read it as a question to the community and not a fraud....

      This problem is rife over here with the GTHO and Monaro crowd, I think we can expect it with P cars also; though Porsche provernance is a bit easier to research as not that many S came here. The problem could get worse as we search overseas for the perfect car...

        yeah, almost got cleaned up this morning in a head on by a truck trying to overtake at 60kph on upper heidelberg rd in sat. morning traffic in the middle of the ivanhoe shops... my first thought was "ah s^&*, I really don't want to have to hunt for a new car...", thankfully the 911 isn't very big... and the gap was just wide enough!!!

        trying to import a car from the US is a great idea... but certainly has its risks if you don't know who you are dealing with.
