    Jump starter power pack

I am looking at getting one of these as a power source for my trailler winch but also as a backup jump start.

Any recommendation? what should I look for in term of voltage and amp?

    Hung,
depending on what you want to do, I have had my auto elec rig up a power source on the back of the car, that way you can connect it to your winch or jump a car off it. The only thing is that it is not portable!!
    Otherwise it works great.

Hung, I've done the same as Alex for the trailer winch - I bought one of the yellow portable power packs from SuperCheap Auto - seems to work pretty well... though I wouldn't rely on it for the winch power.
      Cheers,

I pick it up on Friday and need to put 1000kms on the new engine before it goes back on Monday. Not easy when I want to watch the great taxi race on sunday. I'll post some pics from my drive. I'm heading out to Eastern Creek Friday week for practice and then to Wakefield the following week for the FOSC round.
