Some pics from recent GAF, Ventura, CA

here are a few pics of cars at the Sept 07 GAF I attended.

Note the 1973 911S silver Targa for sale at $48,500. Heard it sold for $48,000 and at current rates, would be a cheap 911S out here. I was surprised it lasted as long as it did, think it sold on the last day.

Matt, thats what I thought when I saw it. What about the tourquoise 911 ? Never seen one in that colour and it was the original factory paint.

I wouldn't describe it as tourquoise, rather more aqua.
Appears to be "hellgrun - code 227" for '72 - '73 model on this web site.

I already have one - and it has a tow bar on it!

The only issue is, with the 928's rear suspension, you can only tow about 600kg!

We extended ours so it has a bigger tray in the back... certainly turns some heads!

Cool Alex! is it to much trouble to re-engineer the rear end to increase towing capacity?

yep!!! The Wiesach rear end is what kills it, and because the gearbox is mounted at the rear, it would be a nightmare!
