    Wevo Shifter

I've just installed a Wevo shifter in my car. Wow, what a difference this makes to shifting - totally different in a great way. I went with the beautiful CNC machined alloy version anodised black, but there is a 'classic' version that keeps the car looking stock.

Anyone using one of these? I can't wait to try it on the track...

And he even installed it with me

He actually stopped by at Classic Adelaide before he jumped the plane to Briz to look at all your cars, but no one was around to introduce himself to. He was pleased to see a couple of the shifter in cars though.

He really is a gentleman engineer and good fun on the sherbert...

Hey John, I've got one in my car - unreal thing. It took me a little while to get used to it... but well worth it.

Good to hear Nick, I've only got a couple of miles on it - but it's been flawless. I've also got the PSJ which Hayden 'tuned' to get a perfect shift.

Hi John, just curious wether you got the 'stock' or 'racing' PSJ, and if it was on Hayden's recom. or your choice?

            thanks

              Hi John

I went with the 'stock' 'cause that's what Hayden had

I had a stock Wevo installed in the RS 101, sweet, very sweet.

                    Hi Andrew

I was lucky enough to have it hand delivered to me by Hayden Burvill who owns Wevo on a visit here last month. I understand that all the Wevo stuff is available here through Bob Whymm, or you can use Wevo's website to order, or Pelican...

Loving driving the car even more now.

                      Thanks John

Might ask Santa to visit Wevo.

Do you have a LSD and if so which one? I'm in the process of spending some money on gears etc to get back to 1:1 and would be interested in your comments.

                        Hi Andrew

I haven't got to my gearbox just yet. The 915 that's in there does not have LSD. A couple of the guys in the club up here have gone with the Modena LSD that's made in Melbourne and shipped to the USA and badged GT. I understand that they won't sell directly, but you can go through GT in the USA and have it 'drop shipped' in Oz sparing the overseas shipping charge. Price is around the $1200 mark.

Sheldon Arkenstall (OzCarrera on Pelican) has written about his Modena LSD on Pelican.

                          Thanks John on the Modena.

By the way if your friend ever needs a bed in Sydney, he's more than welcome.

Just installed the Wevo 915 Black, well Spencer actually did the work.
Un-bleeping-believable the shift is night and day compared to the factory.
Highly recommended esp. with the AUD going strong.

                              Hi John,

are you using (have you installed) the WEVO gateshift mechanism or did you just install the trick shifter with stock 915 internals so to speak?
