Engine weights?

(For no particular reason other than curiosity) does anyone know the difference in weight between mag 2.7 and ally 3.0? Like for like (eg complete CIS power units sans transaxle)

had a look around on inter web but couldn't find what I was looking for

Not sure that there would be any noticeable weight difference.
i think an early sand cast aluminium case weighs about 7 kgs more than a 7R mag.
