    Option 9076 Australian equipment

Hi, as mentioned previously I have a hot rod build in South Africa underway (as good as completed now). We have been getting some info on the 69t donor car from Porsche SA. It is option 9076 which is comfort group, but it also states it is "Australian equipment". I was hoping someone here could help explain the Australian angle? Cheers

New Picture.png Option 9076 in 1969 was the "Comfort Group" for 911T's as detailed in this page of the 1969 options book if you can even see it here :-)

It has nothing to do with "Australian Equipment" That was another group that included all the specific items needed to Meet the ADR's at the time. The code for this changed over time - by 1973 it was C35 but it was different codes in different years.

However I have seen a Kardex for a 1969T with comfort option 9076 that I dont believe is your car as it was UK delivered and after the 9076 it said "AUST 911" but the other options had the number then an abbreviation in German.

I have another one that was German delivered with lots of options and it also has 9076 followed by "AUSST911". I am therefore wondering whether "AUST 911" is an abbreviation in German for comfort kit for 911?
It is probably the abbreviation for *Komfort-Ausstattung" one of the terms used for comfort kit

The link above suggests that (abbreviation) is the case Hugh. The same ESR search also
seems to shows some US car Kardex with that option

Thanks Merv and Hugh. The Kardex for my car also states AUST911. It was porsche SA stating the car was delivered with Australian Equipment that sparked interest.

Peter. Unfortunately the modern Porsche centre guys do not always know how to read their own databases or kardexes I suspect that they misread the information like it is shown on the kardex that Merv posted. What is the vin number? I can check if it is on my list of cars ordered from australia

                        Hi Peter

No that one is not on the list... I have a few around that number but not that one which is not a surprise as the RHD ones were done in batches
