    1967 911s coffee brown

I have started to work out the puzzle of this car and its fascinating and exciting

I will need some expert knowledge and I would love to view another one if I could

I will share some photos of today's work, some one sprayed the fabric black years ago so taken the fabric off to reveal leatherette
    material in great condition

It is a lot of fun Mikki going through these old cars for the first time and finding the points of originality and history. They all say 'it's only original once', but it can be discovered again.

Would be good to see it as it is now, before restoration, has it been forward dated C3 style, widened rear arches etc?

I know someone who worked in John Newells parts dept.

Not sure if he was there in 1980 but will ask.

It's hard to believe the prices, these days Jim. I am contributing to a chapter for a new UK book on RHD 356s and the price in 1961 for a 356N was more than the then new E-Type Jag. So $7,000 would be pretty steep in 1967.

My father bought his 356B Normal Coupe on 1961 for 2495 pounds from Capitol Motors then owned by Arnold Glass ..... he was apparently the top Porsche dealer in Australia at the time.

You could have bought a modest 3 bedroom house on the lower north shore of Sydney at the same time. A high spec Holden ( a Premier EK or such like) was 1000pounds.

What's the book Merv? I'd be interested, and may have some pertinent information to contribute.
