Anyone on the board own a Viper Green 2.4E 73?

The reason I ask...... drum roll please!

My great friend Mark Goddard owned one, a Uk car originally.

Well completely out the blue, the fellow who owned it from the late 70's to 1986 called me this evening.

if memory serves correctly the chassis number ended in 503 and its traded through CTS more than once in the last 10 years. Hugh is that correct?

The tangled webs we weave, and how great is it that someone who owned a car 30 years ago, reaches out to reconnect?

Hi justin I have #502 as a viper green car that went thru CTS a number of times in the past decade - BUT that was originally an Australian car
When did Mark own it to?
I cant find a UK delivered Viper 73E in my database at present. I found a green metallic one though

      Correct it's 502 Hugh, I was out by 1!

the car was bought from John Newells in 1980.... I remember they had some really cool used cars in the dealership at Bass Hill and Darlinghurst.... I would "visit" a few times a year with my late father. I vividly remember an orange 2.0 911 S one year. The price? 13 k from memory....

The Green Metallic car was a 24E Sporto? Correct?

        Hi Justin,

The ex-UK metallic green 73 2.4E Hugh is referring to is no doubt my car ... it is a 5 speed non-sunroof car ...
