    66 911 engine decals

Hi guys, I have a October 65 build 911 (302327) and am trying to figure out the correct engine decal arrangement.
I know the original 65 cars didn't have any decals but the later 66 model cars did and they were the red bordered type that Canford Classics make.
This car is an original UK delivered RHD and my main problem is knowing whether the car should have them or not?
Same goes for the air cleaner snorkel and the fan housing decals.
The car has Webers on it now but originally was built with Solex and will eventually go back to original when I collect all the bits.
Here's hoping someone can put this one to bed for me

So you have a 66 car and I am pretty certain all 66 cars had the red border decals

Check with Alan at Canford Classics they are after all in the UK and he will know for sure

Thanks, I am in contact with Cranford Classic and I hope they can clarify. Their sets seem to be pretty good.

Their sets are as good as they come, not quite as shiny as original but correct thickness for sure.

I have a Canford Classic set on my 68 911L - highly recommended.
