    Location of JACK stowage (71T)

    Hi Folks,

Can anybody post a picture or two showing the correct location of the jack's stowage position in the front compartment? I fortunately have the jack, tools and spare, and a rubber strap thing, but the actual stowage location is not clear to me. I believe it may be on the inside of the front most panel, however, but would necessitate metal tabs or similar, that my car does not appear to have?

    Many thanks, as always.

    Adam

Ok great, thanks Clyde. So I assume the jack just 'fits in' wherever it finds itself. Much appreciated.

I have the 85 litre plastic fuel tank so no room up front.

I keep the jack under my seat, and the tool kit under the passenger seat,

Hi Adam, in my 1970 the jack just lies across the front, either in front of or on top of the spare wheel. I have it wrapped in a piece of spare underfelt which I would kneel on if ever I have to change a wheel. Perhaps the rubber strap is for your battery?
          Cheers
