    Certainly looks to have had some major work done to it and has all the 'fruit'

    I wonder if Tuthills did all the prep work & not just the gearbox?

      He's asking Tuthill money for the car so maybe Francis did a lot of the prep ?

            this is lloyd hughes' (of yellow one owner 2.7RS fame) rally car, which he only recently sold to his navigator. odd to see it on the market again so quickly.

            it was well built, but the london to sydney specs mean, from memory, that its a bit on the heavy side. i also recall the engine being in a pretty mild state of tune for reliability/bad gas reasons.
