    1972 911T - Viper Green - I Love it

    Heya Team

I am a returning member and it’s nice to have a longhood again.

My first dapple into longhood ownership was a few years ago with my purchase of KLASSSSY, which was a 1971 911E light yellow coupe that had been chopped up and converted to a 959 convertible!

After being scammed on a donor shell for the car, I decided to cut my losses and sold the car to Peter K. Peter and the guys at Skunkwerx have done an amazing job of resurrecting the car!

So, five years later, I am the proud new owner of a 1972 911T in my absolute favourite colour of Viper Green. It is a converted car from the US and is currently running a stock 2.7L with MSD.

I bought the car from Ryan Curnick, who bought it from Keelan Falls, who bought it from Darren (?). Before that, the car came from the Northern Territory.

The car had a poor respray. There are humidity bubbles, so I assume the respray happened in NT? It also looks like the car had an SC update in the past, which has been nicely reversed (the guards and bumper look new).

Anyway, I just wanted to Reintroduce myself. And if anyone has any history on my car, I’d love for you to share.

    All the best!

    Jono

The best colour on a long hood ever, except for silver ... looks great, congratulations

Congrats and agreed Viper Green is #1 for me...but then I am biased.

The paint colour in those pics does not appear to be Viper Green to me though, Viper is a bit darker than that car appears however it could be a trick of light or photography

            Enjoy the journey...again

              Thanks mate. I’m pretty excited!

Those photos were some professional ones taken by the previous owner. Definitely retouched as the colour is darker in real life.

Here are some of my less artistic own photos:

Thanks Gents! I’m very fond of it (and the old Duke). Now to find something red to complete my traffic light theme.
