I think you nailed it Stewart.

BTW, I referred a guy from Adelaide to you who was looking for his original 901 g'box from a 65 aussie car. Did he make contact ?

              weren't there 2 3.8RSR 964's?

Geoff Morgan raced the only RHD drive one in Porsche Cup. The car was subsequently owned by another well known Porsche owner in Sydney.

Then another one was ordered by someone in Melbourne some time later, or so it was according to an article I read in Excellence by Michael Browning a while ago.

I understand there is still only one RHD 3.8RSR 964, the one mentioned above of Geoff's. It has lived in Melbourne for some time being owned by the late Don Tryhorn. The car came up for sale recently but I don't know if was sold.

assuming there is a difference between the RS and the RSR then yes I too believe that the RSR of Tryhorn's was the only RHD one built. From what I have heard!!

Don offered the 964rsr to me about a year ago but it seemed a little expensive at the time . I was told Dons cars would come up for sale down the track i know some have sold but i think the 964RSR is still there .(couldnt be certain though)

Dennis O'Keefe will help you if you have the urge Larry he is helping the family sell some of Dons cars since he sadly is no longer with us.
