    shipping engine from US

Hi All - got an engine to bring in from the US. Would anyone be able to recommend a good company to us to bring it over? Tennessee to Melbourne.

I had my 3.2 long block sent over with Fedex a few years back. Engine was packed on a pallet in a wooden crate. Very fast, excellent service and reasonably priced, though I note shipping prices have gone through the roof recently.

Best to stick with a large freight company at this point and time, as not much is flying, I work at Melbourne airport, and there is basically grass growing in the cracks of the concrete at the moment over at the international side.
I had some shocks sent over from Germany for a BMW a few months back, with fedex, extremely good service and fast. But unfortunately a whole engine will sting you. Maybe sea freight could be a option.
