Welcome Doug. Nice to see another 912 in the Club. I'm not sure how many, but certainly Garnett's is a stunning example of one that has been beautifully restored. Bring it along to the workshop day on the 23rd.

Lovely car Doug, however, I suggest you convert to full registration to get best use - too limited on Club plates - especially as we go on many "impromtu" runs...........you never know KYJ 912 might be available :p

                  Doug,

                  Is this your 912 ?
Rego was JKE 305 and the tester was Pat Hayes.
The interior pics are not conclusive.

                  Cheers,
                  Dennis.

I noted one of these butterfly horn buttons just sold on ebay for big $$$$$. Dont swap that for a Momo will you !

This wasnt the car that sold on ebay just recently was it ??

                        Dennis,
It could be my car as my wipers park to the left like in the mag but most early cars parked to the right.
                        Phil,
This is not the Ebay car.
It was advertised on carsales.com about six years ago when I first looked at it but I passed on it as I wanted the standard "aust del matching #s 911".
I kept on looking with nothing avalible in my price range untill I found a add for a yellow 912 (now Garnets car)on pcnsw web site .I once again passed on this car for about a year wilst still looking for a 911.As price went up I ended up buying the yellow 912 from Sydney sight un seen but with a ppi from Grant at Autohaus Hamilton.I kept this car for about 6 mths with very little use (3 small kids ) so It had to go (boss's orders).
Another year passed and I found another 912 with a 2.4E engine lhd that I looked at ,I spoke to George Cairns about a ppi on the lhd and he sugested I Iook at the red 912 I have now.He had built the engine and looked after it for many years saying it was a great car .The previous owner still wanted sell for all the years but never advitised it.
                        Cheers Doug
