New video on 1977 930 Turbo build

This video was taken a few months ago at Kane Hearns Zuffenhaus Classics workshops in West Heidelberg. I am sure members will find it an interesting discussion as this owner has Clydes passion about originality.

Should also mention Kane has his own 1976 930 Turbo 3.0 as well and looks after quite a few 930's at his worksop.
You can see my old Gulf Blue 72 911E Targa in the background which is STILL not completed and on the road. Bought that car in Oregon in 2005 and wont mention what I paid for it....

Thx Phil, really enjoyed his dedication to getting his early series 930 restored to 100% as per factory specs, down to the correct hexagonal punched headlining and the ultra thin leather sourced for the dash and then dyed blue and punched to the original mottled finish. Sounds like a no expense spared resto to both body and interior. Good to see another first class 930. Nev

          Nice job
Pretty sure 73rs wins rhd cup.
148 rhd is my understanding for 3lt 930
I think my 77 3lt feels light on its feet compared to the 78 build (79my) 3.3 I own but the later car is quickest imo.

Those group4 wheels were hard to get, I tried back in April 2019 with no luck. I already had the 7/8s but wanted 10 or 11x15s,finally managed to order a pair of 10s from Jonathan April 2021 as no 11s in stock. Fitted the tb15s (26/61s) purchased back in 2014 and here they are back when I first fitted them. 20210423_174059.jpg
looks like they are a dime a dozen now days

Talk to Kane Hearn at Zuffenhaus Classics where the video was recorded. Kane did the mechanical work on this car and probably knows where other items were obtained.

Wonderful video …. That turbo was built and delivered in a period quite close to my Carrera 3.0

Car needs some of these looking at the clip.

I purchased a couple of pairs a few years back.
