Mystery Irish green 911T with duck tail from 1970s pictures

Wondering if anyone might know anything about this car…. I don’t remember it.

it appears to be a 69 or 70 911 with ducktail. The young fellow in the picture believes it was a T.

the registration plate indicates it was issued in 1978 or 1979, so I guess the pictures are early 80s. I’m seeing if I can get some more information but I figured if I didn’t ask I wouldn’t know.

I might be surprised by what the typ901 universe unveils?

Possibly Richard Griffiths car as his car was originally a sporto I believe and the only Irish green sporto car delivered in 1970.

yeah, not sure. But definitely possible. Original Vic rego was KLK-911... Guess if it was sold late 70's, then it could have temporarily gone via NSW?

Oh and yes was a sporto... And we're certainly not clear on when it got it's ducktail - remember Jason and I having that discussion when we were painting it. Definitely could have been whilst it was green.

But SMH lists it as 1971... Whereas my car is an Aug-69 MY70 build... So seems unlikely?!?

                Doppelganger?!?!?!?

                  Send me the vin Rich

the fellow in the picture is the mate of a mate, who now has a 72 or 73.

the car in the pics was his older brothers. So they are seeing what additional information they can find

could be your car, could also be a doppelgänger.

Conda green also looks lighter to me than these pics... But old photos so who knows...

IF it was really a 1971 Conda green T sporto there were 3 delivered
1102395 that Rob Scheeren found in 2014 that went to Jason at Chequered flag that was a Coogee car originally but unlikely given its reported history (at the time as a two owner car bought by the then owner in 1982) and that it does not appear to have tan interior and it appears to have the antenna on the wrong side of the car see photos of that car

1101330 that I dont have any information on or

1100704 that I also dont have information on

However I also agree that the photo looks more like Irish green. However there were no 1971 MY Irish green spoto T's delivered here, and the color of the car in the other car in the Rob Scheeren photos also looks darker than Conda green would be. So it is quite possible that it is Conda green but if it is really Irish green it would probably be a ex UK car. www.jpg wwww.jpg

wonderful information thanks - am feeding this back to my friend, and his best mate is seeing what information they can find. The car in question was his older brother's.

I suspect the car might have been Conda Green - but its hard to tell from old photos.

Also colour names and model years weren't as important in sales ads 40 years ago.... they were just old 911's back then.

I do remember when Rob Scheeren found this car - I seem to recall it was quite rusty.... must have enjoyed the Coogee seaside air.
