    Heading for re assembly

Only 12 mths late car is off to Spyder Automobiles in Warragul for lots of the re assembly work.

Mike has re assembled more than one of my cars over my restoration journey so I know it is in good hands.

Melbourme Upholstery is the next stop after Mike.

All looks very familiar to me, I’m more or less doing the same. Your level of presentation is absolutely stunning.

      Im currently doing,

      1. Front S calliper rebuild/ new pistons and Hawk pad install
      2. Rear M calliper rebuild, with Hawk pad install
      3. New rotors x4
      4. Front “A” arm rebuild with bushes and new ball joint.
      5. New Master Cylinder
      6. Turbo tie rods.
      7. Front wheel bearings
      8. Koni suspension

Waiting on my parts to rebuild at moment. I’m looking at your wheel hubs, thinking that I should have put them in for a bead blast too, I won’t sleep now.

It's easy, take on a resto, remove from car , disassemble all components with much effort, spend ages and $ cleaning them up, spend $ getting bodies re done and bolts etc re done spend $ to buy all new parts , reassemble a long time later put back on car...simple

I hear you I always get calipers water blasted before the zinc/gold treatment, seems to work and get me that nice gold look

or send your calipers to PMB in the US for a complete rebuild. Not much of a cost difference compared to a complete local rebuild.
