I, well actually my 73E, was requested as a late starter to represent the TYP 901 era at a Porsche Doncaster 911 60th birthday event yesterday.
It was held at a winery in the Yarra Valley.
As it turned out they got more 901's than they needed so finished up in the paddock parking.
Some nice 901's were present.

There was a great selection of new cars and as it was a customer invited event a lot of cars recently sold by Doncaster attended with their owners.
The 911 sure has got bigger over the past few decades.
It has been quite a week for the old 73E while at the 356 event the gentleman I bought it from and owner #3 was driving past Como Park and spotted the familiar Cibies so he did a U turn and called in to see if it indeed was his old car, we had a good chat.
Yesterday it was catch up with Louie Giosis who unbeknown to me (I did find out years later though) was the underbidder when I bought the car in 1995.
