    Rear window rubber fit

    Hi all
I recently purchased a rear window seal from Sierra Madré and had it professionally fitted. As per pics fit was very ordinary and was blamed on the seal. Has anyone had a similar experience ? Should I have brought from Porsche instead ?

following this experience I purchased side window seals from Porsche, and with the help of Mikes Porsche restoration, fitted them myself, result was great.

    thoughts?

Order a rear seal from Porsche, got to be better than the one you have.
Side ones look great from your images.

Yes, same thing happened to me with a URO seal from Pelican. I ended up cutting small triangular sections out of the bunched corners to get it to lie flat and then using a small amount of sealant to make sure that it was actually sealed. Be very careful that you have a perfect seal as small leaks in the corners will lead to rust on your parcel shelf over time!

I would be getting the seals from Porsche if it were me. Just as Sean suggested. Other peoples experience here seems to further support it.

          False economy otherwise.
