    Cibies Question

To all who have mounted their Cibies, Whats the best method to remove the chrome bezel once they are in place. I see from the photos on Ryan's beast his have been mounted to make it easier, however, I have mounted mine with the spring on the bottom.

I used the method John posted a while back. It worked a dream and was incredibly easy. Thanks John.

    Will Post some photos soon.

    Hi Tim

Just pull the little tab on the bottom.

Also I think you can rotate the mounting ring on the body one notch so that the tab is offset to the side like Ryans and mine to make access easier.

      Cheers!

Thanks Cam. One of those tabs is broken, and there is a slot to stick something in the hole. I'm a bit nervous yanking on the other one now!

Sounds like rotating them is the answer.

For the life of me, I couldn't work out how to rotate the bezel correctly to get the offset for the ring tab... I settled for a little 3M clear vinyl where the tabs touch.

Garage is coming along great and I'm getting ready to tackle a few neglected tasks such as actually wiring up my Cibies and refinishing my Fuchs in RSR finish (I'll do a write up of that when I start )

Glad my photos/instructions were of use!
