Hi Chris,

Clyde and I (being the only Australian R Gruppe members) will be attending the gathering and will be driving up from SoCal in a '72 911 I recently bought off Roger Grago.

Not sure when we will be arriving into LA but we plan to join the caravan north with all the other SoCal RGruppe guys.

Well I nearly got there! One of Roger's mates has my fabulous room (lucky sod - glad I offered it up to Roger before cancelling it)...too many things going on for us at the moment and I couldn't squeeze it in this time around. Damn - great possibilities of a fabulous car to drive and all!

Hi there Chris,

looks like its Clyde and I attending Sonoma in a few weeks for the RGruppe meet.

I was fortunate to meet up with Thorsten Klein whilst in Stuttgart last week and we had dinner at a great Bavarian pub. Thorsten and his partner will also be at Treffen 06 and I am looking forward to catching up with him again. He's a very interesting guy, passionate about his early 911 and also a very avid model collector. Wow, you should see his collection all beautifully presented in display cases around his home.

Looks like I will collect Clyde fresh off the plane at LAX on Wed. morning then join Roger's caravan up the coast for our overnight stay and visit to Canepa Design. I guess Clyde will be sleeping (or trying to) as we punt the silver T along the roads Roger has promised us.

I look forward to meeting you there and talking Porsche !

we will be looking out for you Thursday morning or maybe even catch up with you along Big Sur wed. afternoon ?? Now that's a great 911 road. Pity last time I drove it was in a 32ft motor-home !

I have attached a pic of my Californian based 72T so that's what Clyde and i will be in. will try to find an Aussie flag for the back window.
