Becker radios

I am doing some homework on Becker radios - whether I should buy in the US when I am at Monterey or to buy locally and have some sort of warranty.
I have been given the name EJ Classic Radios in Melbourne - Enes.
Has anyone had any dealings with this guy ?
Are the Beckers better than the Blaupunkts ?

I have checked this site out several times and he is the most expensive of the Becker / Blaupunkt restorers in Europe.
