Model Porsches question

ok, i know some of you are into collecting model p cars.

where would i find the following (in the same scale, and preferably requiring assembly)?

1. early 911 targa
2. 356 speedster
3. 3.2 or 964 speedster

it was decided over beer last night to build a scale model 911 speedster before the real deal...

Hey Ryan

First you need to know what scale you're after... the most common for plastic models is 1:24, and the metal ones you see are generally 1:43 or 1:18

Fleabay often has stuff and I recent bought two very nice 911R and 911RS models in 1:24 for $50 - they need to be built completely from scratch and I intend to replicate my car with bits from both

Any of the decent toy shops and hobby shops will likely have what you're after also.

PLenty of ebay stores offering these as John says. Havent seen a Targa model though, mainly coupes - but your chopping the top off anyway.

The ones Tim and I have built are surprisingly good in their detail.

Plastic kits 1/24. Fujimi have some lovely ones... Most of not all of what you want. I actually have a number of these that my late father bought ... sadly he never had the chance to build them.

1/43 - Minichamps (die cast metal) or Spark (resin). These are built up.

We should have another pub meal and solve the problems of the world (and old Porsche ownership)
