As requested by Mr Fishcop here's a step by step of my latest crash.
Feel free to give driving tips for future reference.

I'm of the opinion that you should have turned right...:p

Seriously, really sorry to see. What actually went wrong?

Looks to be a very innocuous understeer. May be the grass was too wet, to stop you before the tyre wall? Hope nothing too serious.

Was dicing with the clubman thingy for 3rd. Had it over him on the straights but he had me in the corners. Was pressing on coming out of the carousel and got onto the grass (wet). From then on I was a passenger.
Front bar, guard, spoiler and suspension destroyed.

Repairs will probably put my 901 project aspirations on hold for a couple of months.

Lakeside is a fantastic place to drive but bites if you get it wrong.
At the drivers briefing in the morning they told us it has the dubious honor of killing the most drivers of any circuit in Australia.

hey paul, sounds like you might have been on the lucky side! how hard did you hit? any feedback on how the harnesses behaved relative to normal seatbelts?

I'm glad I had a 6 point harness on. No injury at all. I reckon I hit the tyres at about 80-90k.
