    Restored early 911 race car

Boy if you think Clyde goes to extremes, have a look at the pics of this car on the early S board:

This guy has polished the inside of the guards even.

And take a look at the engine bay.

    Surgically clean.

Car looks awesome, I hope my car (same colour and year) will look similar to, don't know if I will go THAT far in details, but it leaves something to aspire to.
Only hope mine looks half as good.

The car has taken much longer than hoped, however the end result should be great ..... I HOPE!!!

          First Class

Mark is the best. He and before him his father has looked after my cars for years and years.

Come to think of it I know the car- it used to be red, correct ? Yes, it has been in there for a while!

He'll do a great job on it I'm sure, I've always been pleased.

          Cheers

          Stew.

No it was never red, it was always a white car. It may have been red in places during the repair process, as he used it to signify where things had been replaced or required repairing.
Should be a fun car when finished, with any luck it will be ready to sprint and historic race at Winton as it is first meeting.

Clyde, the $30k body repair was bad enough, but at least I know I have a new car at the end of the day! I know that you above all will appreciate the pain both financial and mental!! But we also get to reap the rewards through sheer driving and viewing pleasure - well at least i hope!!!
