    New Deep six reproductions

After looking for a set of originals I stumbled on to these .
Not sure if you can get them in oz yet but should not be to expensive as the 5.5j' are only about $1200 in oz .

Here is the wheel you asked for! After the success of our line of 911 style wheels in 4.5J and 5.5J sizes, we went to produce 6J deep offset version. This wheel was offered only on 1969 911 and because of it's rarity original forged wheel is sold at premium.
As same as our other line of 911 wheels, wheel is made using the latest low pressure degusting technology and passing the strict"JWL" and "VIA" authorization standards.
This new 6J Deep 911 style alloy wheel is available in full polish and chrome versions.

    Cheers Doug

      Vintage Vee-Dub Supplies in Sydney 02 9789 1777 and Classic Vee-Dub also in Sydney 02 9638 4200 are stockists of Flat 4.

I know they have 4.5" and 5.5" versions of reproduction Fuchs, you would have to enquire whether they have started stocking the Deep 6" versions.

Anyone care to comment on the quality of these wheels?

I work with some VW guys that say all the Flat 4 stuff is of great quality.
I have not seen the wheels in person but look to be a good copy.
I think that I saw some stuff about them on the early 911s registry.

            Thanks Doug

I suspect they are Chinese and probably a bit heavier than the real thing. I'm thinking they could be an option for a spare set of wheels for track work rather than risking a real wheel. I also suspect a new wheel could be safer than a 40 year old one. They need some black paint IMO but that is no big deal.
