Throttle Bodies "lead & mfi line" rubber holders

    Hi all,

Engine reconditiong going well. Spencer is great and letting me get fully involved. Last week I tried out the soda blasting trick recently posted here on my throttle bodies. Worked a treat! (sorry didnt take photos).

Anyway, got these images off the web. Does anyone know if you can buy the rubber holders (need 4) for the leads and fuel line that are screwed on to the throttle bodies, between the stacks? Like these ones, mine were pretty stuffed. I have done plenty of searches but can't find in all the usual places.

Think i could make some, but the rubber is actually vulcanised to the metal bases plate that also supports the edges. Not sure I could replecate that.

    Thanks

    Hey Andrew,

maybe a set of PMO's would tidy up the engine bay....just while you're updating things.

      Hi Andrew
Pelican have the part listed at:

part number is 91611033000 and called support for injection line, $30.25 US each, 4 required.

The link is to a page Pelican had to take down, I had it book marked : )

        Thanks very much.

I was looking on Pelican , but on this page which only showed it as integrated with the throttle bodies.

150 AUD for 4 small bits of rubber - great deal

        Cheers

PCA will have them, I bought them from there in the past, probably same number as Pelican as that looks like their Porsche number and yes Michael is correct they have a metal base

Andrew, there are some other itty bitty MFI bits that cost even more than those and are very unobtanium. Cant remember what they were for but had to buy them used out of Germany. Something like $70 ea and I needed 6 pcs I think. Ouch.

Thats a cool spotting job by "classic" and does underline the value of shared information on a forum like this.

For all the hunting I do on E Bay and other Porsche part selling sites I had never seen someone doing a replica of those holders
