Nurburgring webcam

I was doing a bit of travel research for my trip to Germany next month and came across the official Nurburgring website. I was hoping to "do a lap" of the 'Ring but became a bit discouraged when I checked the local webcam live pic (see below).

I think I better call the rental car company and change that 997 I ordered into a Cayenne S.

lets hope the weather clears a bit in 30 days.

You'd do better to opt for a snowmobile Phil!

I hear that its 500 euro per meter of bent armco if you have an
off track excursion....correct?

Hi Andrew,

I think you are right about getting the repair bills for any damage, not sure about the costs cause all the track rules are in German.

I wonder what the lap record is for a snowmobile ??

But seriously, I will be checking this out as part of a recon. trip for a possible club visit to Germany in late 2007 after the new museum opens. I believe PCV and also PC New Zealand may be organising a trip there to be at the museum opening. Might be a possibility to join with them ?

Its getting worse.

More snow has filled in the 20cm deep tractor tyre tracks.

At least there wont be a whole bunch of pesky motorcycles out there.
