    Carrera Script

I put some Carrera script on the Carrera, second side was much easier after asking a signwriter friend how to do it
Note the washer snorkel, thanks to Adam
Still more jobs to be done before I start the '65 tho.

Courtesy of Clyde I do have the correct tail for the car, that's a good couple of weeks away from completion though.

You're not putting the three ton rubber lump on the back are you? Wasn't that what they were delivered here with?

I know the one you mean, but no mine is the factory fiberglass over metal.
Not sure on Oz delivered spec my understanding is both were available in 1977.

Whew! They're a horrid thing, both in form and function! Good to hear your otherwise fine taste remains

I thought you would never ask
I marked the script position on the car with whiteboard marker then without peeling off the backing or the "carrier" I taped the script in place by just taping along the upper edge creating a hinge.
This allowed me to swing it up and apply a light spray of water/detergent solution to the sticker area and also allowed excess spray to run off, next I peeled off the backing and then using the palm of my hand and a rubber squeegee I worked the script down and pushed out any bubbles.
Its then recommended that you leave this overnight before peeling of the carrier but I was impatient and therefore had to be a bit more careful.
The addition of the water/detergent is a revelation for a dummy like me who has always had trouble with stickers
