Front trunk\Boot carpet

Trying to finish of the fron trunk\boot and fitting a 4 piece set I got from PP and notice that the pocket for the wooden support is sewn into the top surface.

Should it be on the underside, so that it's not visible?

And no it's not upside down.

Thanks Peter, it's all fixed thanks to the wife. I must have got the Monday carpet set, considering I paid extra for the set from Autobarn.

I considered sending it back but my wife Anne said I can fix that.

Now I just have to get her motivated to stitch my new steering wheel cover.
