You've bought a beautiful car Peter.

LOL I think I might try and have the best of both worlds and keep my eye out for a set of '73 cookie cutters.

It will be like having 2 different cars

              Peter,

Sweet car will look great at Fed Sqaure.

Lots of 73E's made it to Australia with cookie cutters.

Wouldn't the number of 73E 's (Australia) in total be in single digits?

Thanks Clyde, I knew mine was one of 7 but didn't know all the numbers. Clearly '72 was a tough year to shift cars

Thanks for the comments guys. I am contemplating changing the cookie cutters to a nice set of Fuchs. Also for the numbers my 73 Targa is a 5 speed.

Your not old enough to remember but a massive oil crisis in late 72/73 people stopped buying cars.

I've got the original cookie cutters for mine however they are unlikely to be going on the car, but if I ever return the car to its original Sepia Brown they might complete the look.
