Some snooping advice

Hi,

I am trying to track down some info about the car I have just purchased. No doubt some of you if not all have been through this process before.
Is there an easy way to track down rego from the US or Oz?
I am not after personal info unless of course it is someone famous ha ha but I am interested the the cars history prior it leaving the US.

I have the delivery date and place it was delivered but I have contacted the dealership and they have no history as they have moved a few times since.
I have a name on a rego cert from the US but wouldn't it be nice to get the DMV records from California.

Does anybody have an idea? It would be a great business to start for everyone with old cars. Like a private detective firm.

Jim, I have a Kardex on order. That gives a bit more than the CoA that you could get from the US Porsche guys (i have one also). Have you contacted them?
