Rear Sway bar compatibility 69-77

Hi can anyone confirm whether rear sway bars for 1969 through 77 are (aside from diameter difference), interchangeable and use the same pick up points?

Was it the 78 year where they changed set up?

Seems there is a drought on where it comes to sway bars, so I'd use a later one if it fits.

anyone know if the later bars fit the earlier - I had thought they weren't compatible.

But am been told by some vendors they are?

All bars up to 1977 were the same shape and of varying diameters so upgrading options are readily available.
