    Pressure plate

Fitting up a new pressure plate. It's a 901/13 and the parts manual calls for M8x15 bolts.

The manual calls for 25'lbs, but when I went to torque them up, I felt one stretch.

Am I missing something? Was there a change to the settings?

PS I made sure it was square and tightened in a X pattern.

Silly question, but did you use new bolts?

No I didn't Tim, but now have new 8.8's in hand.

I got lucky, and didn't snap any, but wanted to check before going again.

Interesting Merv, I just ran down stairs to re check (suffering jet lag @ the moment)

I need to do a bit more research I think, what page in the manual are you looking Merv. Which manual?

Tony, The guys at Porsche were insistent that you must use new bolts.
